So what do we really know about Jupiter? Generally speaking, most people know that Jupiter is big…the biggest planet in the solar system. We know it’s a “gas giant”. NASA decided they wanted to know more about Jupiter, so they initiated the JUNO mission in 2016. Over the last 4 years, we’ve learned more about Jupiter than we’ve ever known, including how important our neighbour is to the formation of Earth itself.
