3. Their Technology Could Render Ours Useless
Any alien civilization able to reach Earth would likely be thousands or even millions of years ahead of us. Their tools could include wormhole travel, planet sized structures, or weapons beyond our comprehension.
They might have machines capable of changing planets or erasing cities instantly. While this could lead to destruction, peaceful contact might give us access to amazing new discoveries in science, medicine, and energy. Either way, life on Earth would never return to what it once was.
