5. We Might Already Be Under Observation
Not all alien contact stories end in war. The Galactic Zoo theory suggests that advanced aliens are already watching us. According to this idea, they avoid contact because they see us as too young or undeveloped. Much like humans watching animals in a nature reserve, they may be quietly observing our progress without stepping in.
If they make contact in 2024, it might mean they believe we are ready to join a larger galactic society, or it might simply be time for them to reveal themselves.
